Our Services

Cosmetic & Reconstructive Foot Surgery

Some foot conditions not only cause patients discomfort and pain but are often unsightly and cause embarrassment. We treat many of these with cosmetic surgery. If you are suffering from pain or a deformity in your ankle or foot, we sometimes suggest reconstructive surgical intervention to help alleviate pain, reduce deformity, and restore function.

Diabetic Foot Care

Diabetes is a disease that can cause serious problems with your feet in terms of circulation, balance, numbness, wounds and the ability to heal properly. It is extremely important for diabetics to have their feet examined several times a year by a doctor, to check for and treat any ulcerations or infections, and to prevent any further complications from occurring.

Wound Care

If you have a wound on your leg or foot that is not healing, it is very important to seek medical attention. We specialize in treating all types of wounds that may be caused by cuts, burns, trauma, infection and diabetic ulceration. Wound care involves the proper cleaning, dressing and treatment of the affected area until the wound is completely healed.

Heel Pain

Heel pain is most often caused by overuse, instead of an injury. Heel pain as a result of overuse can be due to many things, including wearing shoes with poor support, running too often, especially on hard surfaces, sudden turning of your heel, or landing too hard or awkwardly on your heel. Connective tissue that runs from the toes to the heel bone causes heel pain, also known as heel spur syndrome. There are many types of treatment for heel pain, depending on the severity of your pain, including anti-inflammatory medications, ice packs, stretching exercises, orthotic devices, and/or physical therapy.

Bunions and Hammertoes

These are very common conditions. These can be treated with permanent removal. We can also treat these conditions on a temporary basis, giving our patients temporary relief. The patient has the final say on how we treat their condition. Our approach is to get you back on your feet as fast as possible.

Ankle/Foot Fractures and Sprains

If you are suffering from an ankle or foot fracture or sprain, time is of the essence. The best results are achieved when the fracture is tended to immediately. It is imperative that you contact our office as soon as possible so that emrgency care can be provided. We will evaluate the extent of your condition and administer the appropriate treatment.

Fungal Infections

These infections may start out as a white or yellow spot under the tip of your toenail. As the nail fungus spreads deeper into your nail, your nail may discolor, thicken and develop crumbling edges, causing an unsightly and potentially painful problem. These infections should be treated as soon as possible. If left untreated, they can lead to dangerous blood infections.

Ingrown Nails

Ingrown toenails are caused by the growth of the toenail into the surrounding nail fold. Symptoms include pain and swelling at the site. Chronic, painful ingrown toenails can usually be treated, permanently, with a simple procedure that prevents the regrowth of the ingrown portion of the nail.
